Your privacy choices

Pofu does not sell your data, shows no ads and does not track you across other apps or websites, so there is no need for a "do not sell or share my data" request. Below are the choices you manage yourself in the app and the rights you can exercise by e-mail.

Choices in the app

• Processing with AI: For Pofu Tutor, the diary teacher, exam scoring, translation and pronunciation scores, your text or voice is sent to OpenAI and Microsoft Azure. We ask for your permission before the first use; withdraw it any time with Settings → Privacy & legal → Allow processing with AI. While it is off those features do not run; the rest of the app is unaffected.
• Usage recording (Microsoft Clarity): In adult mode, screen interactions are recorded. Turn it off with Settings → Privacy & legal → Usage recording; in child mode it is always off.
• Marketing e-mails: The Settings → Daily report → Marketing e-mails switch, and the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every marketing e-mail.
• Notifications: The Settings → Reminder notifications switch and, for the community, Messages and calls; you can also turn them off in your phone's notification settings.
• Community visibility: Show me in Discover removes you from the Discover list; I take voice calls turns voice calls off. You can block any member and report any content.
• Profile photo and nickname: Changed or removed from the Profile tab.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export and delete your data and object to processing (GDPR, KVKK). Write from your account's e-mail address to [email protected]; we respond within 30 days at the latest.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account deletes your account and all your data immediately and irreversibly. Details: account deletion page.

Child accounts

Community, AI features and usage recording are off on child profiles. Parents can view, correct or delete their child's data in the app with the guide PIN, or by writing to the address above. Age suitability.
